Jameela Jamil Knows Her 'She-Hulk' Character Photo Is Not Great

The promotion for Disney+’s forthcoming She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has not been particularly savvy. The series boasts a hell of a cast, including Tatiana Maslany in the lead role, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Benedict Wong, and Tim Roth as Abomination.

However, the existence of a stellar cast alone cannot sell a show, and the series may be running against the headwinds of some MCU-fatigue (as a somewhat neutral observer, who is not a rabid Marvel fan but has also seen everything, my fatigue level after the messy Moon Knight and the very promising but flagging Ms. Marvel is at “I will wait until the Marvel tentpoles hit Disney+ to watch them now” level).

My affection for Maslany is butting up against the bad (or unfinished) CGI of the show’s original trailer and now the character photo for Jameela Jamil’s character, Titania.

I’m not sure what the general consensus on that photo is beyond ooof, but to me, it looks like the best marching band drum major outfit ever. Jameela Jamil, however, understands that it’s not a great look, and she puts the blame for that on a 14-hour shoot in the Atlanta heat.

I will say that the look has come a long way in the last 10 months, although I am guessing this hairstyle is more representative.

She-Hulk premieres on Disney+ on August 17th.
