The current Senate Republican Primary race in Philadelphia is too close to call. That didn’t stop Stephen Colbert from taking shots at candidate and failed Jeopardy host, Mehmet Oz. Oz’s campaign has made headlines due to his lack of political experience and support from former President and fellow scam artist Donald Trump.

It’s been pretty easy for late-night hosts to take shots at Oz. It’s also somehow gotten easier. This past week, Oz made a strange promise to voters. He told them that while lying in bed, to know that “Oz will be doing exactly what [they] want him to do if he was there next to them.” Look, I kind of get what he’s saying here. He just said it in the worst possible way. You’d think someone with TV experience would know what to say and not say on TV!

OK, that’s not true. Still though! Colbert kicked off the show by focusing exclusively on Oz’s… bed promise.

The fun didn’t stop there! Colbert turned his attention to Oz during his monologue as well. He doubled down on the… bed criticism and then teased Oz for his support from Trump. Specifically, Oz’s citing of Trump’s praise of his intelligence. Colbert also turns his attention to one of Oz’s opponents and fellow Republican, Kathy Barnette. It seems everyone in the race was trying to be worse than each other.

Mission accomplished.
