A Gentleman in Moscow on Showtime at 8:00pm ET. Series premiere. Based on the 2016 novel of the same name and starring Ewan McGregor.

The Regime on HBO at 9:00pm ET.

Parish on AMC at 10:15pm ET. Series premiere. This is a new series starring Giancarlo Esposito that says it’s based on a BBC series called The Driver from 2014, but the description sounds pretty different. “Gray Parish, a good man with a troubled past, has given up his life of crime to be a family man. However, when his son is violently murdered, old habits return, sending Parish on a relentless quest with moral intentions and dangerous consequences.” Good to see Mr.Esposito staying in his preferred role of a criminal who is fairly sympathetic.
