Someone snapped a photo of Geena Davis while she was filming a commercial in her old Rockford Peaches uniform. Come on, tell me she doesn’t look amazing.

More to the point, she looks like she’s having so much fun. And this photo right here is the perfect follow-up to Courtney’s fantastic post yesterday on the New York Post critic who had the unmitigated gall to age-shame Jennifer Aniston for her performance in We’re the Millers. Courtney puts people in their place much better than I do, so I will just say this: Good god, people, what on earth is wrong with having some f*cking fun in life? Geena Davis did a great little movie 20 years ago, and she’s not letting time or some bullsh*t idea that it’s not okay to revisit old stomping grounds stop her. I’m tired of the attitude that oozes out of folks like Harrison Ford and William Shatner that the role that made you famous is something you have to be above or distance yourself from. Oh my god, embrace the fandom. Embrace life. You’ll enjoy yourself much more. I mean, seriously, don’t these ladies look like they’re having the best time?
