Jessica Lange's Best Moments on 'American Horror Story'

As we’ve long suspected, American Horror Story: Freak Show was officially our final go ‘round with Ms. Jessica Lange. She will not be returning for American Horror Story: Hotel, or as I call it, American Horror Story: MOTHERFUCKING GAGAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHYOU GUYS I LOVE GAGA. In addition to LADY GAGA LORD OF ALL THINGS AND QUEEN OF YOUR GODDAMN LIVES, next season will star Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson and clearly be a celebration of gay men with dark hair and eyes that could strangle you dead from 60 feet away.

At Paleyfest, Lange told reporters “I’m done” which is what I said somewhere around the last few episodes of last season.

“We’ve had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I’ve had the opportunity to play, and in all madness, I love the writers and Ryan [Murphy, executive producer] and the insanity of shooting it.”

Regardless of the show’s ups and downs, Lange gave it her all for four solid seasons, chewing scenery like it was a Twizzler. We rediscovered that magic she’s had her whole career but has been made so much more fun with age. For that, we are grateful. Because she’s just the best. The greatest. THE SUPREME.
