Consider this a simple public service post. When it comes to software, there is far too much nonsense out there. Often, it’s over-priced, bloated, ad-ridden, subscription-based, not even functional—or any combination of the above. If you are frustrated with whatever subpar collection of code you’re using for a task, chances are there’s something out there that does it better, and for free.
