Trump's Campaign Manager Has a History of Domestic Violence, Because OF COURSE HE DOES

Stephen Bannon, who runs a website that publishes posts with headlines like “Birth Control Makes Women Unattractive and Crazy.” “Would You Rather Your Child Had Feminism or Cancer?” and “Gabby Giffords: The Gun Control Movement’s Human Shield,” has a history of domestic violence, surprising absolutely no one.

The NYTimes is reporting that not only did the scumbag assault his then wife, Mary Louise Piccard, but he smashed the phone when she tried to call the police. After charges were filed against Bannon, he also threatened his wife and forced her to take the kids and leave town rather than testify against him at the criminal proceeding.

Mr. Bannon, she said, told her that “if I went to court he and his attorney would make sure that I would be the one who was guilty.”

Mr. Bannon’s lawyer, she said, “threatened me,” telling her that if Mr. Bannon went to jail, she “would have no money and no way to support the children.”

Why did he hit her? Because they got into a fight over the noise she was making while feeding their twin infant daughters.

It sounds like it wasn’t the first incidence of violence, either.

Ms. Piccard told police she and Mr. Bannon had a turbulent six-and-a-half year relationship. Early on, there were three or four “arguments that became physical” and they had been going to counseling. She said the arguing had continued, but that the violence had stopped — until that day.

Sounds like a goddamn peach.

Oh, and also, it looks like he’s illegally registered to vote.
