Trina LaVittles Crosses a Line That Not Even Her Fox News Colleagues Will Accept
Huh. During the debate last night, Tryhard Spaghetti unsurprisingly tweeted a number of terrible things. Take, for instance, this tweet:
How is it the "neutral" CNN moderator can sit there and call the sitting president a racist?— Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) August 1, 2019
Well, I mean: That’s not opinion at this point. That’s just common sense. Or this tweet:
WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING???— Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) August 1, 2019
Is Sanka a mole for the Tim Ryan campaign?
If we truly care about lifting up every voice and fighting on behalf of the issues that keep Americans up at night, let’s start by making our conversations civil and productive. #YouDontHaveToYell pic.twitter.com/OLsP1qeSze— Tim Ryan (@TimRyan) July 31, 2019
This, however, was the tweet that got her in trouble:
Kamala did you fight for ideals or did you sleep your way to the top with Willie Brown?— Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) August 1, 2019
I expected someone would go to that well eventually, although I expected Trump would go there first. I’m not terribly surprised that Trina brought it up, though. Here is what’s surprising: Two of Tryhard Lakergirl’s Fox News colleagues actually took issue with that tweet. Harshly.
Do you have any idea how damaging this is to women who’ve actually been sexually harassed, assaulted or demeaned in the workplace? How much this weakens our own gender, regardless of partisanship. My goodness.— Britt McHenry (@BrittMcHenry) August 1, 2019
That is brutal, considering the source, a woman who once ridiculed, humiliated, and mocked a woman for the crime of being poor and uneducated.
McHenry wasn’t the only Fox News colleague to shame Lactose for her tweet. The Fox News senior meteorologist also went off on Tacky.
If a male contributor had tweeted this they would probably be suspended with a trip to HR. Pretty disgusting, Tomi. Are clicks and retweets worth demeaning women? Would you do the same to a “conservative” female candidate?— Janice Dean (@JaniceDean) August 1, 2019
I suspect that Trichinosis didn’t immediately see those tweets, because she doubled down:
Ask Willie Brown how Kamala became AG of CA…— Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) August 1, 2019
And tripled down:
I didn’t make this up. Willie Brown admitted it. The truth hurts. https://t.co/WvmhXWa5kO— Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) August 1, 2019
(For the record, there’s absolutely nothing to this story).
Talky eventually did apologize, however, which is the second most surprising thing about this story.
I apologize for my comment on Kamala’s personal relationship. It was the wrong choice of words. There are many other things to take her to task for and I will stick to those.— Tomi Lahren (@TomiLahren) August 1, 2019
I didn’t think that Sewer Barbie had it in her. I mean, I don’t believe a word of it, and I suspect she was only doing so to save her job, but hopefully, it puts a stop to crossing this particular line (Oh, who am I kidding? Trump will say the same thing in three weeks, and every Fox News pundit will defend him).
