Over the course of the last 24 hours, Donald Trump has:
— Repeated the conspiracy theory that George Soros is behind the caravan, a theory that led to the shooting deaths of 11 people 6 days ago;
— Called the 14th Amendment to the Constitution a “crazy, lunatic policy”;
— Forcefully repeated his claim that the media is “in fact, the enemy of the people”;
— Blamed two white supremacists of his own creation for stopping Republican momentum heading into the midterms: “We did have two maniacs stop a momentum that was incredible, because for seven days nobody talked about the elections. It stopped a tremendous momentum.”
— Made his 6,420th false claim over the last 649 days;
— Suggested that he would build “tent cities” at the border to house people who come across the border as part of the migrant caravan;
— Said that he would “build a wall” of troops to keep these very dangerous people from invading the country;
— Said that if migrants threw rocks at troops, he would give them permission to shoot them.
Trump says he has told US officers at the border that, if migrants throw rocks, "Consider it a rifle." He's saying, obviously, that he wants rock-throwers shot.

I had a big rant worked up for this, but you know what? This guy — who served in the military — says it a lot better than I do:
No fucking soldier is going to shoot anyone throwing rocks because:

A.) It's against the ROE and they will spend the rest of their lives in military jail,
B.) no military commander is going to put his troops anywhere near a situation where they are going to be actually endangered by rock throwing pregnant women,

C.) Unlike our president Cadet Bone Spurs I actually was in the military and thus have more respect and faith and understanding of our guys in uniform and recognize that they are highly trained, disciplined, and not monsters

D.) the caravan is a thousand miles away and considering a third accepted Mexico's amnesty it will probably wither down to nothing by the time it even gets here IF it even gets here,
