2:05: The Trump Team is laying the groundwork here to scapegoat Rudy Giuliana by suggesting that everything that went down with the Ukrainians was designed exclusively to serve Giuliani’s business interests.

Giuliani bloody well knows it:
Republican lawyer doesn’t do his own research and preparation, and is instead picking up Democrat lies, shame.
— Rudy Giuliani (@RudyGiuliani) November 20, 2019
Allow me to inform him: I have NO financial interests in Ukraine, NONE! I would appreciate his apology.
Can someone get a wet nap? Giuliani’s face is covered in tire tracks from a bus.
11:20 — Fine. I’ll do a few Trumpdates today, because God knows that’s where everyone’s attention is. The big news this hour is Ken Starr on Fox News suggesting that Gordon Sondland sealed the deal on Articles of Impeachment.
On FOX right now, Ken Starr has called today a "bombshell", and says there is a case made for an article of impeachment linked to contempt and obstruction
— Reggie Cecchini (@Cecchini_DC) November 20, 2019
Really interesting point by Ken Starr on @FoxNews: #GordonSondland likely just drew up an article of impeachment for House by complaining that State Dept. will not release documents to help him refresh his memory on events surrounding #Ukraine. Starr points to obstruction.

Wow, Ken Starr making a strong case for obstruction and contempt of Congress charges on Fox right now. Cites Nixon. Says he's changed his mind on these proceedings. "It's over. There will be articles on impeachment."
— Tom Watson (@tomwatson) November 20, 2019
Ken Starr on Fox just now: This morning’s testimony ‘doesn’t look good’ for the president, ‘substantively,’ thus far…there will be articles of impeachment.
— Guy Benson (@guypbenson) November 20, 2019
As far as the contempt and obstruction charge, that’s what Adam Schiff is implying here:
SCHIFF: "This I think only goes to underscore just how significant the president's obstruction of this investigation has been. We now can see, the veneer has been torn away — just why Secretary Pompeo & Trump do not want any of these documents provided to Congress." pic.twitter.com/r21bb4DTpl

Ken Starr, again on Fox News, even suggested that, though it is unlikely, the Senate could ask for the President’s resignation today.
"Are senators going to now say, in light of what we hear today….we need to make a trip down to the White House—that historic example set during the Nixon presidency."

Ken Starr on the implications of Sondland's damning testimony: pic.twitter.com/iXGaNWybjL
This is it. It’s everything you need to know from the Gordon Sondland hearing. Everything else you hear today is just noise.
Gordon Sondland: "I know that members of this committee frequently frame these complicated issues in the form of a simple question: Was there a quid pro quo?
— Axios (@axios) November 20, 2019
As I testified previously, with regard to the requested White House call and the White House meeting, the answer is yes." pic.twitter.com/mI7CHpkgak
There was a quid pro quo. Trump directed Giuliani to direct Gordon Sondland and others to compel the Ukrainians to investigate Biden in exchange for military aid. That’s it. “Everyone was in the loop. It was no secret,” Sondland said. Pompeo was in the loop. Giuliani was in the loop. They were all doing it at the direction of the President, and Sondland has thrown everyone under the bus.
GORDON SONDLAND says he kept the following individuals informed of his efforts:
— JM Rieger (@RiegerReport) November 20, 2019
- Mike Pompeo
- Ulrich Brechbuehl
- Lisa Kenna
- John Bolton
- Fiona Hill
- Tim Morrison
“They knew what we were doing and why." pic.twitter.com/ezMMygaUrS
Wow, Sondland is just SHOVELING people under the bus.
— A Cat In The Lonesome October (@catvalente) November 20, 2019
Shorter Sondland: yeah it happened. Because Trump wanted it. And everyone knew about it. And they're covering it up (he said State didn't let him access his emails).

And remember: This guy is a Trump political appointee who donated $1 million to Trump’s inaugural fund in exchange for a position as EU Ambassador.
