President Trump Pissed Off the Wrong Goddamn Woman

OK, let’s recap — with some more clarity — about what happened yesterday. Bob Mueller found something on Michael Cohen that he felt was outside of the scope of his investigation on Russia, so he went to the Deputy AG, Rod Rosenstein, who handed it off to the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, who obtained several search warrants to procure documents related to possible bank fraud, wire fraud, and campaign finance violations.

In other words: This is all about Stormy Daniels. In fact, the President may have brought this all upon himself by saying last week that he didn’t know about the NDA that Michael Cohen paid Stormy Daniels $130,000 to sign. The key here may be where that $130,000 came from that might trigger bank fraud and campaign finance violations.

Again, because this is not just an attorney, but the President’s attorney, a very high bar is set before search warrants can be obtained, and clearly, that high bar was met. Cohen must not have been cooperating, and there must have been a legitimate fear that Cohen would have destroyed evidence. Moreover, for Mueller to refer this means that he must have found something that implicated Cohen and/or Trump in a crime related to the Stormy Daniels dispute, and attorney-client privilege may be lost here if it’s part of the crime-fraud exception, which suggests an ongoing of future crime.

Guys: A porn star may take down the President, or at the very least, his personal attorney.

That is so 2018.

The President is livid, according to an Axios source: “This is the first crisis post-Hope Hicks. … This was different: I’ve never seen him like this before. … This is the president you’re going to see more of from here on out: unvarnished, untethered.”

All of this is happening, of course, the day before Mark Zuckerberg — whose social media company, Facebook, helped to elect the President — is set to testify in front of Congress.

It’s like all of the sins of 2016 are coming home to roost. And in this case, the system — for now — is still working:

The government hasn’t been so corrupted — at least where it concerns the FBI and the DOJ — that Trump and his attorney have been able to completely eradicate the rule of law.

Yet this dumb motherfucker, meanwhile, keeps saying, “They found nothing. They found nothing.”

You fucking bitch: Your former campaign manager it facing life in prison; your former National Security Advisor is under indictment and is cooperating; there have been several other indictments of Trump officials, including Rick Gates, who is cooperating with Mueller and probably going away for a decade; there have been 13 indictments of Russians; sanctions levied against Russia; one guy has already pleaded guilty and has been sentenced; there’s a guy from the UAE who is cooperating with Mueller; there’s probably enough evidence collected to put away Jared Kushner for decades; and now Michael Cohen is on the brink of being charged with several crimes.

That’s something, you dumb shit. That’s a lot of something.

Meanwhile, Kellyanne Conway’s husband, George Conway, has subtweeted the President a few times, but this? This is something else:

That’s the husband of one of the President’s most senior aides is telling that President that he is bloody wrong.
