Mike Judge’s Idiocracy was made only 12 years ago. The movie was set in a dystopian future 500 years in the future, where “anti-intellectualism and commercialism have run rampant, and which is devoid of intellectual curiosity, social responsibility, and coherent notions of justice and human rights.”
So, we’re about 488 years early, folks. But at least we can live in an Idiocracy where a porn star can shut down a Trump-supporting blue-collar sitcom star on Twitter.
