Updated: Michael Flynn Is Prepared to Testify Against Donald Trump and His Family
As expected, Michael Flynn pled guilty to lying to an FBI agent, and according to ABC’s Brian Ross, he is prepared to testify against Donald Trump and his family members, and will testify that Donald Trump ordered him to make contact with the Russians.
Reuters: Prosecutors say Flynn spoke with a 'senior official' of Trump's transition team who was at Mar-a-Lago resort in December 2016 to discuss what to communicate to Russian ambassador. https://t.co/XqRbR1NQw0— Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) December 1, 2017

He’s pleading guilty to one count, which I can only assume means that he’s cooperating with the special prosecutor in order to avoid other charges, and if he’s cooperating with the special prosecutor, it can only be to go after someone higher up the food chain, and there’s only a handful of people higher on the food chain than the former National Security Advisor, and most of their names end in Trump or Kushner.
With all his exposure, if this is all he’s pleading to, he has given something pretty important to Mueller in return. https://t.co/Alp8CykATA— Matthew Miller (@matthewamiller) December 1, 2017
Either that, or Mueller only found one charge and Flynn is going to take the fall (this seems unlikely given the fact that Flynn’s lawyers stopped communication with Trump’s lawyers a few weeks ago).
The expected guilty plea will be entered at 10:30 a.m.
Flynn is the fourth member of Trump's campaign to be charged with a crime. He's the first who led a "lock her up" chant at the Republican convention.— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) December 1, 2017
