We could be spending our time tonight obsessing over polls. Or watching The Crown. Or spending one last night with our families in a country that didn’t elect a life-sized jar of rotten marmalade. But instead, I think we’re going to talk about whether Donald Trump just pulled two endorsements out of his ass in order to rally New Hampshire voters to the polls.
The first comes from New England QB Tom Brady, who Trump said called him today to say that he voted for him. True? Maybe, although Brady gave an interview this morning and said he hadn’t voted yet. Also, early voting is over in Massachusetts, so he likely did not vote after the interview.

Meanwhile, Trump also read a letter aloud from Bill Belichick, who also endorsed Trump.
Trump also says Bill Belichick wrote him "the most beautiful letter." Reads it —> pic.twitter.com/PDMVSB7lJo

The letter could be authentic, but also, I like to think that while Bill Belichick is pure malevolence and evil, one of the greatest coaches in the history of football probably knows how to write a coherent letter. That letter sounds like it was written by a Trump supporter who changed his name to Bill Belichick after the Patriots won their first Super Bowl.
I refuse to believe Bill belichick wrote a letter that said the word "beautiful"

We all know that word isn't in his verbiage https://t.co/5cV8nFI89I
The important thing is that we are actually questioning whether a major-party candidate for President of the United States just pulled two endorsements out of his ass, hoping that he won’t get busted before voting begins, because that sounds exactly like something Trump might do.
Update: Yep. Trump was super lying about that Brady endorsement.
On Instagram, a commenter said Friday: “Gisele I head you and Tom were backing Trump! Is that true???”

Gisele responded: “NO!” https://t.co/Yff7Z5GeuK
