FBI May Finally Finally Have Fire to Go with All that Smoke on Trump/Russia Collusion
According to U.S. Officials who spoke to CNN, it appears that the FBI finally has direct evidence of actual collusion between members of the Trump campaign and the Russians.
The FBI has information that indicates associates of President Donald Trump communicated with suspected Russian operatives to possibly coordinate the release of information damaging to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, US officials told CNN.
The FBI is now reviewing that information, which includes human intelligence, travel, business and phone records and accounts of in-person meetings, according to those U.S. officials. The information is raising the suspicions of FBI counterintelligence investigators that the coordination may have taken place, though officials cautioned that the information was not conclusive and that the investigation is ongoing.
The information apparently does not definitely prove collusion, but it strongly suggests it. Unfortunately, it’s been difficult for the FBI to conduct an ongoing investigation because Trump associates stopped talking with Russia after the spotlight was put on potential collusion.
Nevertheless, the post certainly suggests that there is evidence of collusion, but that more investigating needs to be done.
