Yesterday, as we covered, Sean Spicer said that Donald Trump does not share the same Islamophobic views as Stephen Bannon, although Sean Spicer did not deny that the chief advisor to the President is Islamophobic. Yesterday, Donald Trump also bungled his Black History Month speech in ways that we had no idea a speech could be bungled, and he also decided that white supremacists were not a threat that he’s concerned about by revamping a government task force called “Countering Violent Extremism,” renaming it “Countering Radical Islamic,” and making its sole focus Islamist extremism. This, days after a white supremacist Trump supporter walked into a Canadian mosque and killed six Muslims as they prayed.
Yeah, but her emails.
Last night, liberal protestors broke some shit and threw some smoke bombs at UC Berkeley while protesting the college Republicans’ decision to host speaker Milo Yiannopoulos. Yiannopoulos is violently anti-feminist, anti-Muslim, and anti-Black Lives Matter known for his hate speech. Last week, a protestor at a Yiannopoulos event was shot by a Yiannopoulos’ fan. Yiannopoulos was banned from Twitter for triggering a hate-speech assault on Leslie Jones over a movie. He’s an editor of Breitbart, a alt-Nazi site that pushes a white supremacist agenda.
He’s a guy you wouldn’t want to align yourself with publicly. Unless you are Donald Trump.
If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view - NO FEDERAL FUNDS?— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 2, 2017
Trump just threatened to pull federal funds from a top university in defense of Milo Yiannopoulos.
BUT FOR GOD’S SAKE, HER EMAILS.
Also, it wasn’t even the fault of the Berkeley students themselves, about 1,500 of which were protesting peacefully. It was some separate anarchist group known as the “Black Bloc” that created the mayhem. I don’t agree with the action of Black Boc, but no President in his right mind throws his support behind the guy espousing hate speech.
Just this week, Donald Trump has damaged our relationship with a strong ally in Australia; and either threatened or offered to send troops to Mexico to deal with the “bad hombres”; he got civilians and a soldier killed, and other soldiers wounded after greenlighting a raid in Yemen without adequate intelligence (a raid that Obama rejected a few weeks ago); he’s embroiled us in a conflict with China; and seemingly allied us with our worst geopolitical enemy in Russia. Meanwhile, actual Islamic extremists are saying that Trump’s Muslim ban has been their best recruiting tool since 9/11.
But it was the cooking recipes in Hillary’s emails that were a dangerous threat to our national security.
