I typically try to limit Donald Trump posts to one a day, in the morning, but this video is just so galling. It’s not surprising — nothing is anymore — but it’s just so embarrassingly petty. Here he is speaking with the medical staff caring for the injured after the El Paso shooting.
Guess what he wants to talk about? No. Really. Guess.
He’s talking about crowd size. Specifically, the crowd size of a rally he held in El Paso, where — in February of this year — he chanted “murders, murders, murders, killings, murders” in an effort to whip up a frenzied fear about illegal immigration. Here he is, bragging about the crowd size at a rally he held where he stirred the very fears that led to the shooting in El Paso over the weekend. Not only that, in front of the medical staff, that petty little man mocked the size of a Beto O’Rourke gathering where they protested Trump’s racist rhetoric yesterday.
"I was here three months ago … that place was packed, right? … That was some crowd. And we had twice the number outside. And then you had this crazy Beto — Beto had like 400 people in a parking lot. They said his crowd was wonderful." https://t.co/NnQzIjrFq6

Trump, by the way, still owes the city of El Paso $470,000 for security at that February MAGA rally.
