Bernie Sanders is on the mend today after he had two stents inserted after he was found to have blockage in an artery. Sanders had experienced chest discomfort yesterday and checked himself in the hospital. The procedure was successful, and Sanders is recovering. He’ll be in the hospital for the next few days.
In the meantime, Sanders has canceled campaign events while he recovers and his campaign has been put on hold, a day after he announced he had raised a whopping $25 million in the most recent quarter. Like his Democratic opponents, we genuinely wish him a full and speedy recovery.
Weaver: Sanders had “chest discomfort” and procedure to treat blockage in artery. Happened last night.

Thinking of @BernieSanders today and wishing him a speedy recovery. If there's one thing I know about him, he's a fighter and I look forward to seeing him on the campaign trail soon.
