Remember a couple of weeks ago, when the news that children were being separated from their mothers at the border was just starting to draw the media’s attention, and Ivanka Trump posted this:
Yikes.
Ivanka was supposed to be a positive force in the administration for women and children, but it seems that she only meant her own child. To date, she’s said nothing publicly about the policy at the border. As Meghan McCain said on The View yesterday: “I’m sort of interested that her whole platform has been women and mothers and she doesn’t seem to have anything to say about this.”
And then there’s Vanessa Trump, the wife from whom Don Jr. is separated. She posted this the day after Laura Ingraham defended the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy, saying “More kids are being separated from their parents and temporarily housed in what are essentially summer camps.”
(The original post has been deleted, but this is the screengrab.
I don’t know if the Trump family is oblivious, tone-deaf, dumb, or just straight-up spiteful, but Jesus fucking Christ.
This….can’t be real. She is trolling us. There is no way she doesn’t know what she is doing with this tweet. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. Just like “womp womp”

Yeah, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at that meme, either. Both?
Meanwhile, the dumb one has a kid, too. He’s apparently going to be our 55th President. God help us all.
Note, too, that Vanessa Trump is not the only one who can’t read a room. Here’s our Secretary of State today.
