While we try to find a new show for us all to coalesce around (or more likely, the next season of Survivor in the fall), we’ve officially hit that summer season where there’s a lot of TV and we’re all watching completely different shows!
Just take this week: between the three of us, this week we managed to get into Cape Fear and Widow’s Bay on AppleTV, The Vampire Lestat and From on AMC, and Alice and Steve and Not Suitable For Work on Hulu!
And that’s even before we got into Tori’s corner (a cartoon in Devil May Cry, and the return of Clarkson’s Farm), or Dustin’s sad crime stuff (The Witness on Netflix) or my nonsense (inexplicably, somehow, still working The Traitors into every conversation).
One thing you can say for certain is that we have very disparate tastes.
Oh also, more on this next week because it isn’t in the episode (because we recorded before it aired on the west coast) but I AM SO PUMPED for this season’s Top Chef winner! It might not have been the most exciting season, but I think the right person won. But more on that next week.
