Podjiba is a year old! Which really just means that we’ve been recording and releasing our ramblings for a year with (almost) no interruption. For you! And also us. So really, for everyone!

And to celebrate, we decided that it was a perfect time for Dustin to explain television to us, as Tori spent most of her past week, uh, watching more Supernatural, and whenever I try to remember what I watched, everything goes black and I wake up a few minutes later in my own bed. Which I’m sure is totally normal, right?

Anyway.

THIS WEEK ON THE SHOW:

— Our opening nonsense involves a variety of topics, but the ones that really stick out to me are beets (and how we’re using them wrong) and a discussion about hunting season in the northeast!

— In actual television, we talk about the Emmys (kind of), mourn the loss of Stumptown (kind of), and then Dustin Teaches Television as he covers all sorts of shows Tori and I haven’t watched, like Raised By Wolves (which, to be clear, Dustin didn’t seem that excited about earlier, but I guess he changed his mind like a mind changer), The Third Day (which has Jude Law, so Tori is now contractually obligated to watch it), and Departure (which revolves around a missing plane, so it’s filling the Manifest-sized hole in Dustin’s heart until next year).

— In the game, we go back and look at our original Fall 2019 tv lineups from our very first show! Oh, how young and silly we were.

Podjiba can be found wherever podcasts are available, probably! Although perhaps you should ask: if your podcast provider doesn’t provide Podjiba, are they even a provider of podcasts? (You can also download it right here.)

Dan is the Comedy Editor and Podjiba Host. You can listen to him scream into the void on Twitter, or listen to him host the weekly TV podcast Podjiba.
