Warner Bros. Discovery Is Going to War With the NBA

Despite Warner Bros. Discovery matching an offer made by Amazon, the NBA has taken a pass, effectively shutting WBD out of the next round of rights deals in favor of the streaming service. David Zaslav is reportedly pissed. Losing the NBA on TNT would obviously be catastrophic, and “there is a broad expectation that Warner Bros. Discovery will take the NBA to court” to try and keep this marriage together. (Variety)
