Donald Trump is still a threat to Democracy. Democrats are energized. Their chances look significantly better with Vice President Kamala Harris (likely) taking up the party’s nomination. There is hope. Still, the threat of Donald Trump has not gone away. There is still a chance he could be re-elected and plunge the country into one of Christofascism. However, his Diet Mountain Dew-swilling (not racist, just lame), couch-f***ing running mate may screw that up for him.
JD Vance will (likely) go down as one of the worst picks for Vice President in U.S. history. He has negative charisma and is already embarrassing himself at campaign rallies. His qualifications are laughable. The man is a weirdo hack of an author, who may as well have “opportunistic” tattooed on his forehead. People have already unearthed embarrassing past comments from the Hillybilly Elegy author, including a shot at women who have decided not to have children.
The United States is run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too,” Vance told Tucker Carlson in 2022. If you think that is a wildly sexist and s****y thing to say, you are correct! Misogyny is the main thing the GOP has to go on since they collectively decided against making any further “race comments” (like that’ll work). Jennifer Aniston ain’t having it.
Aniston took to her Instagram to read Vance for the filth that he is. “All I can say is … Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day,” she wrote on her account. The actress, who has struggled with IVF in the past and clearly doesn’t mind putting Vance in his place, continued, “We are complete with or without a mate, with or without a child.”
She didn’t stop there. The Friends actor invoked Vance’s two-year-old daughter, as she wrote, “I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.” The GOP is spiraling, trying to figure out how to counter the excitement on display by the Democratic party. Right now, they are failing miserably.
