If you’ve seen Thunderbolts, then you know that it’s all but a sequel to Black Widow thanks to the heavy presence of Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova and David Harbour’s Red Guardian. If you’re like me, you probably forgot all about the fracas over Black Widow when Marvel decided to dump the film on Disney+ during the pandemic. Well, Scarlett Johansson did not forget. Despite prior remarks that she doesn’t hold a grudge about what went down, she recently revealed in a new interview with Harbour that she made Marvel pull her executive producer credit from Thunderbolts. That’s no small thing. She essentially told them to keep their damn money and keep her name off that sh*t. (Interview)

UPDATE: I’m just now learning of the passing of regular Pajiba commenter DrBombay. Before Elon turned Twitter into a cesspool, he used to routinely hop in my DMs and was always a delight. Our first conversation was him asking me advice on WandaVision! He will be sorely missed. Our deepest condolences to his friends and family.
