Rosie O'Donnell Thinks Keanu Reeves Was One Of the Worst Guests She Ever Had

I guess the celebrities are doing bangs today! Jennifer Lawrence has them, and so does Kristen Stewart. And Nicole Kidman is rocking them now, too. (Lainey)

I just hope that Keanu Reeves doesn’t get bangs. Also, here’s a surprise: According to Rosie O’Donnell, Keanu was one of the worst guests she ever had on her talk show! (Don’t worry — not for the reasons you might think). (Yahoo)

I may have gently misled you into this post with that Keanu headline (kids gotta eat!), but that’s because I couldn’t figure out how to frame this story as a headline. Ben Stiller got some hard criticism of his parenting from his own kids and put that out in the world in his documentary, which, you know: Big ups. But woof. If my kids grow up and tell me that I prioritized parenting last when they were young, I would crawl into a hole and die. (E!)

November will see Miles Teller host SNL for the second time, and Glen Powell and Nikki Glaser for the first. Glaser should be … interesting. I also suspect that Powell will be very good. (Late Nighter)

You need another reason to watch the phenomenal, warmhearted Boots on Netflix? The Pentagon called it “woke garbage,” which actually reminds me of a T-shirt I had made several years ago based on a rando comment: “Pajiba: Woke Internet Trash.” (EW)

Celebitchy closes out my week of hosting Pajiba Love with nine Royals posts! That’s insane! Also, I’m not “mocking” or “slamming” Celebitchy, people on Reddit! I’m teasing. I don’t know anything about the Royals, and I think it’s funny that they cover them so much. Don’t include me in your Internet feud! Anyway, I’m with Kylie Kelce. If I’d said “we’re pregnant” when my wife was pregnant, I would’ve had to find a new wife. (Celebitchy)

I think that Rockmond Dunbar is a great actor, and I actually don’t have a problem with anyone who refuses the COVID vaccine over sincerely held religious beliefs. This was not that, and a jury saw through it and ruled against him in his lawsuit against 9-1-1. (Variety)

Kayleigh thinks that Guillermo del Toro was the perfect director for Frankenstein. Actually, he may have been too perfect. (GossipReadingClub)

Kayleigh was more kind than Matt, who was like, “Maybe del Toro has just run out of things to say.” Eep. (Commentary Track)

Carmelpie is now willing to call herself a runner and after many years of leaving it on her shelf, has finally read Haruki Murakami’s What I Talk About When I Talk About Running. “[He] explains how and why he became a runner in the first place, and how he needs to run, just as much as he needs to write, to survive.” What do you do for yourself to survive? (Cannonball Read 17)

I had a good time hosting PL this week. Lainey will be back tomorrow, and Mike will return on Monday. I hope y’all enjoy your No Kings Day and get out there and protest if you can.
