Lena Dunham has a new memoir coming out, which can only mean one thing: Battle stations! This time around, she’s accusing Adam Driver of throwing a chair at a wall during rehearsal, screaming in her face, and punching a wall because he didn’t like his haircut. Do all of those things seem possible? 100%. However, because Lena Dunham is gonna Lena Dunham, she said this to the NYT when asked about those excerpts: “One thing that’s miraculous is, no one dated and no one punched each other. In a way, we did the best you possibly could, and always, and I hope I portray this in the book, Adam is a meticulous artist and where he has to go to get there is secondary, to me, to where he gets. I love watching him; I learned more from him than anyone I’ve ever stood across from on camera.” (Deadline)

MarkAbaddon has been rereading The First Chronicles of Thomas Covenant by Stephen R. Donaldson and has found inspiration in The Power That Preserves. “This book reminded me of a powerful principle that we often imbue more power in someone or something than it truly possesses and, when we laugh at it, we take away much of that power.” Are there books that you are finding timely?
