Welp, the news that Nicholas Hoult joined Season 2 of HBO’s controversial Harry Potter series didn’t even last two weeks. Amidst a wave of backlash, Hoult has reportedly bailed on the project over a “scheduling conflict,” but someone else couldn’t wait to take his place. Kit Harington has already stepped into the role of Gilderoy Lockhart and is “excited” to reprise the part after previously voicing the character in last year’s audio series. I don’t think this one is going to sting as much as Hoult, but at least now we have official confirmation that Jon Snow sucks. Sucks a whole bunch. (Deadline)
