Can anyone think of the last time Jimmy Fallon did something even mildly entertaining? That’s a trick question because it’s never happened. Grading on that curve, he pulled off a somewhat interesting move this weekend by bailing on an interview with Madonna at the last minute. Fallon was supposed to conduct a Q&A with Madge at the Tribeca premiere of her short film Confessions II. He backed out and Anderson Cooper was tapped as a quick replacement, which has to be weird. Imagine treating Coop as a backup for Jimmy Fallon. It should be the other way around. - (EW)

Narfna is in the mood to round up her review to five stars on Dead Weight by Hildur Knútsdóttir, translated by Mary Robinette Kowal. “Perhaps it is because there are two cats in here and one of them is a black one, and perhaps it is because of the ending, but regardless, I’m doing it, and I have no regrets.” What kind of horror do you prefer to read?
