When prosecutors managed to score a retrial for the Danny Masterson rape charges, I just assumed it would play out exactly like the first trial and end in another mistrial as the jury once again refused to believe his accusers. So imagine my surprise when Masterson was actually convicted on forcible rape charges against two women, but not his ex; that verdict, unfortunately, was hung again. However, Masterson is looking at 30 years in prison, and unlike Tom Cruise, I don’t think he’s reached the Thetan clear level of phasing through walls. I heard that course costs a cool billion and you have to levitate into the room or it’s straight to the slave ship. The Scientology slave ship. They seriously have those. (Variety)
