'Alien: Earth' Season 2 Is Clear To Nuke Us From Orbit

I’ll give it to you straight: The chances of Alien: Earth Season 2 never seeing the light of day were definitely greater than non-zero. Despite being a juggernaut on the streaming charts, the show is wildly expensive and has been divisive with general audiences. Toss in FX seemingly dragging its feet, and the situation did not look good. Well, we may have an explanation for that delay. Not only has Alien: Earth been renewed for a second season, but Noah Hawley just locked down a nine figure deal with FX and Disney Entertainment Television. I’m thinking the show was a success, and/or someone showed the top brass a picture of the eyeball and simply said, “C’mon…” (Variety)
