Tracy Morgan is very busy these days — he’s got a spin-off of The Neighborhood coming to Paramount+, and he’s reteaming with Robert Carlock and Tina Fey for a new sitcom — so the thought of losing him again for an extended period is dispiriting, to say the least.
It’s part of the reason why there was so much concern after Tracy Morgan puked all over the floor and bled from the nose while sitting courtside at a New York Knicks game. A wheelchair had to be procured to transport Morgan, and the Knicks game was delayed for around 10 minutes while they cleaned up the mess he left behind.
Bloody noses and puking terrifies me, as it probably does many others, especially considering Morgan’s past health problems associated with a near fatal car accident that left him in a coma for eight days back in 2014.
It turns out, thankfully, that Morgan is OK. According to a post on Instagram, Morgan’s doctors told him he suffered a bout of food poisoning. He also expressed thanks to the Knicks crew who cleaned up after him before dropping a very Morgan-esque line: “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs.”
In the meantime, Jordan should probably avoid Cheesy blasters, those cupcakes with the edible gold, and Werewolf Bar Mitzvah Cake.
