The Mormon Wives Want the Money Faucet Turned Back On, Please

Taylor Frankie Paul didn’t just flush an entire season of The Bachelorette down the drain, she also kneecapped The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 5. Production has been paused since mid-March when the Taylor scandal breached containment and became too much for Hulu to brush under the rug.

Well, surprise, her costars suddenly don’t feel so icky about filming anymore.

Citing concerns about disrupting their summer vacays, the Mormon Wives are reportedly pushing Hulu to resume production rapidamente. The cast is over their concerns about the Taylor and Dakota situation because, at the end of the day, what’s the real crime? DV or having to change your reservation in Cabo? Be reasonable, y’all.

There’s just one teeny little problem: Hulu might be ready to throw the whole show in the trash, but the good news is the cast will have lots of time for vacation. We call that monkey paw in the magic underwear pocket.

But don’t get too excited ‘SLOMW’ fans … an insider with direct knowledge tells TMZ, network execs still haven’t made a decision on the future of the series, let alone the remainder of the fifth season.

Fans certainly noticed when …. Miranda posted a photo on social media with a camera in front of her, but based on our intel, it looks like the cast is attempting to pressure ABC to greenlight new episodes by building viewer anticipation.

For now, that wishful thinking does not mean cameras up and rolling.

If the show does return, it’s unclear whether Taylor will still be involved. The cast reportedly considers their concerns about filming with her “resolved.” Does that mean resolved as in she got the boot or resolved as in keep those Hulu checks coming? I have no clue. I didn’t even know this show existed until last month. I thought it was another Real Housewives, but apparently, that’s an entirely different show and way too many Mormons if I’m being honest.

Where all they all coming from? Is this a Mitt Romney thing? Did he make all of them with his binders? Am I just saying the only Mormon things I know? Big Love?
