For the record, please know that I think everyone here sucks. It’s going to seem like I’m doing some light caping for Lindsey Graham, but trust me, I am not. He sucks, Meghan McCain sucks, and the talking point she’s parroting from Matt Walsh sucks the loudest.

To bring everyone up to speed, Lindsey has been rightly getting ripped to shreds after he was photographed at Disney World over the weekend while airports have been a nightmare thanks to the government shutdown. It was not a good look and part of a TMZ initiative to sic the paparazzi on politicians as they live it up while Rome burns.

Lindsey caught flack from both the left and the right, and you’ll never guess what flavor of flack the right chooses. It’ll be a huge surprise. Here’s what Matt Walsh tweeted, which MY FATHER gleefully retweeted to her followers. (My apologies for the Twitter embeds. When I said everyone sucks here, that includes me. Always and forever.)

And here’s what ol’ Jell-O Shot McGee wrote three hours later because why come up with original thoughts when social media does the thinking for you?

If you’re not picking up on the very subtle subtext here, bubble wand = gay, which is an incredible talking point to be pushed by former The Trevor Project award winner Meghan McCain. But don’t worry, it’s not like she’s going to run with the ball and start veering into “all gay people are child predator” territory. Meghan’s one of the good ones, you guys!

Via The Daily Beast:

McCain also addressed the getaway during the live taping of her Citizen McCain podcast, saying, “First of all, Lindsey Graham is a 70-something-year-old childless man, not married.”

Whoopsie doops. Don’t get me wrong, Lindsey Graham sucks, but there’s no place for homophobia. Fortunately, he handled this situation perfectly and taught everyone a valuable lesson about hate. — Just kidding, he took out a gun. A real man’s bubble wand.
