Katy Perry's Love Life Is Going As Well as Her Space Ride

Fresh off her rich lady joyride into space that everyone hated, Katy Perry is already back in the headlines with another disaster: Her relationship with Orlando Bloom.

In the past 48 hours, the tempo has noticeably increased on Perry and Bloom heading for a breakup, and you know this is more than just tabloid fodder when it starts to show up in PEOPLE. Apparently, Katy’s latest album and tour flopping put “stress” and “tension” on their relationship. Now, it’s to the point where Orlando has been hitting the town solo, so that can’t be great.

“They have been spending more and more time apart,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “They’ve grown apart and aren’t living the same lives anymore.”

A second insider adds that their inner circle is aware the couple aren’t totally on the same page at the moment. “It’s an unspoken thing that they are having issues and have for a while now,” the second source says. “Everyone around them knows.”

According to the second insider, Bloom, 48, is keeping his relationship issues “close to the vest” but has been “out and about more often” without Perry, 40, who is currently on her worldwide Lifetimes Tour.

Close to the vest, huh? That’s a weird way to describe Orlando Bloom showing up on The Tonight Show with his dog because he’s “very emotional right now” — which is literally what happened last night. The dude might as well have looked in the camera and said, “I really don’t want to be alone right now…” And he did it with a puppy. A puppy!
