First things first, why did no one tell me she started doing Iron Man stuff? It’s like you people don’t even know me. I’ve been here seven years, man…
Anyway, here’s your celebrity diversion from MechaHitler being unleashed not even six months into this administration: After being forced to skip the grossly decadent Láuren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos wedding that overran Venice, Katy Perry visited the happy couple’s yacht over the July 4th weekend. However, she wasn’t the only visitor. Orlando Bloom was also onboard, which suggests that he’s just been hanging out with Jeff and Lauren for two weeks straight now? Kinda weird.
Obviously, this reunion must have been awkward as hell. Christ, just look at the photos. Perry and Bloom officially pulled the plug on their relationship ahead of the wedding, and now, here they are being forced to play nice for the Bezos-Sanchezes’ amusement. Is this the newlyweds’ kink? No shaming, just curious, and I may have follow-up questions about forcing Katy and Orlando to kiss for burlap sacks full of cash. (I put a lot of thought into my work. Sue me.)
Katy and Orlando reuniting on the S.S. Prenup also arrives on the heels of reports that he’s basically been living the single life for months now. According to Page Six, Legolas has been putting the vibe out:
A source tells us the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor was in Miami, Fla., flirting with women on a recent trip.“Orlando was definitely with girls in Miami,” says a source.
“He’s been not subtly out and about,” according to our source, who called Bloom’s flirting “unapologetic.”
One person who may have picked up that vibe is Sydney Sweeney. While her people have been frantically denying the rumors to every outlet that will listen, if she and Bloom are secretly an item, uhhh, my man has a type! I’m sure that fact wasn’t lost on Katy, or the Bezos-Sanchezes who presumably encouraged her to let those feelings fly, but over on the deck with the good cameras. They hate when the audio cuts out. Total mood-killer.
