Bill Belichick's Family Knows Jordon Hudson Is Still Lurking in the Shadows

Big day today, so here’s something to keep your mind off the fate of the country: Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson’s break-up is officially a circus. Yeehaw!

During a press conference on Monday, Belichick was asked about his relationship status, and he did not like that. “Do you work for a tabloid now?” he snapped at WRAL reporter Brian Murphy. “I’ll keep my personal comments and relationships to myself if that’s alright with you.”

As for why this story is blowing up, well, everyone around the coach seems pretty confused by news that the couple split a year ago considering Hudson has been attached to Belichick’s hips this whole time.

But if the North Carolina football coach and his girlfriend are on the outs, two people inside the UNC football office told USA TODAY Sports they were not aware of it.

The two people, including one high-ranking staff member, spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

Belichick’s family, who have not been thrilled with this relationship, have also come out of the woodwork to say they’re “relieved” that the two broke up. However, they’re not stupid and have deep concerns about how much gold Jordon Hudson has dug and is probably still digging as we speak.

“They understand she’s still very involved in his business affairs, but they don’t really know the full extent of her involvement, how much say she has or exactly what responsibilities Bill has given her,” the insider said.

Despite the family’s relief over the breakup, the source said questions remain about Hudson’s continued professional relationship with Belichick.

“They’re not accusing her of doing anything wrong, but there’s still some uncertainty about what her role looks like now that they’re no longer together.”

Of course, the big question is did these two really break up? Jordon has essentially been acting as Belichick’s publicist, so I can easily see her thinking a stunt like this would keep UNC off his back about letting her lurk around. Judging by how it’s wildly exploded in their faces, it does feel like her handiwork.

But then there are the reports that Jordon is seeing somebody else. Again, that could just be part of her master plan, but considering she milked $8 million worth of real estate out of Belichick last year, it would appear she already made her nut, so not having to see an 80-year-old man naked feels like the logical next step. But who knows?

Belichick’s family seems convinced she’s still hiding in a crawlspace while he tells everyone that she’s out of the picture and his first true love is football. You can tell by the way his team is 4-4, so definitely don’t fire him. Please. She wants so many expensive things and already made herself power of attorney. Help.
