I know this is probably bothering other people, so I’ll ask it: Did Adrian Grenier run out of money or something? Why is he popping up all of a sudden? He’s even showing up at Lakers game. It’s kinda weird, and as you saw by the headline, nothing good will come of it.
On that note, Grenier is already openly talking about an Entourage revival, which is a topic that requires eight million layers of finesse. There are landmines everywhere. I know the term “problematic” has been used to death, but to trot out another cliche, if the shoe fits…
For those who blissfuly don’t remember, Entourage was fully a product of the aughts thanks to being loosely based on Mark Wahlberg’s early days in Hollywood. Every episode was like flipping through an issue of Maxim while bathing in Axe. To put it mildly, the series did not age well, and that was before it smacked into the #MeToo era. The show had already collapsed into a parody of itself by the time it pulled the plug in 2011. The 2015 movie was a total joke, and the whole franchise couldn’t get tossed into the dustbin fast enough once the Jeremy Piven allegations hit. (His character sharing Harvey Weinstein’s penchant for firing off a stream of profanities certainly didn’t help.)
So, again, even talking about bringing back Entourage is dicey and has to be done delicately. For example, you definitely don’t want to start bringing up Piven’s name right out of the gate. Clearly, an enlightened thinker like Adrian Grenier won’t immediately step on that rake.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six, the actor — who has lived on a sustainable farm near Austin, Texas, since 2020 — teased that he and former co-star Jeremy Piven are “ready to work” on a continuation of their hit Hollywood comedy-drama, which aired on HBO from 2004 to 2011.
