You've Got To Hand It To Cats

You’ve got to hand it to cats, really. While dogs are precious, perfect cartoons that by their sheer existence give humanity meaning, cats seem to have evolved into a state of being that is designed with ruthless efficacy to simultaneously annoy as well as enchant. Ask any cat owner (though ‘roommate’ may be a more appropriate term) and they’ll confirm that while their cat does indeed love them, they also probably express a baffling combination of contempt, impatience, and/or deep-seated desire to troll their human companion, in any number of innovative, completely unnecessary ways. To wit:
