And by “love,” I mean “have a nervous breakdown.”
Hey, you know how mothers like to post pictures of themselves breastfeeding their babies to promote and normalize the idea of babies (the horror!) eating in public? The latest supportive trend aims to destigmatize, and raise worldwide awareness about menstruation, and more than that to provide aid to girls in countries who may not have access to the sanitary items they need. Started by Plan UK and V Point News, the “Just a tampon” campaign also points out that in countries like Uganda, girls are ridiculed and abused because boys don’t understand menstruation. But it’s not just third world countries where knowledge is lacking; V Point spoke to a few UK men about the subject, and let’s just say the results are both amusing, and slightly horrifying. (Ladies, if you’re at the office, maybe close a door so you can howl with laughter as loudly as you like.)
Get it together, gentlemen! Seriously, tampons are not that complicated. Just ask Jon Snow; he may know…something.

Now get out there, take a nice little tampon selfie, and drive all your ignorant, prudish friends from the internet for good! It’s…for good!
