Orangutans are incredible creatures. They live only in the canopies of the tropical rainforests of Sumatra and Borneo. A reminder that due to runaway climate change caused by psychopathic capitalism, the tropics are set to be uninhabitable by 2050. If things continue as they are going, orangutans will be long gone before then—along with many, many other species. Truly it was a nice planet we had once. Though the current course is incredibly dire, with vast swathes of the most vulnerable already feeling the brunt, we still must try to correct our trajectory, to save whatever we can.
