Yesterday, Harry Potter fans around the world felt a jolt go through their veins when the magical name bounced to the top of Twitter trends — H.P. NEWS OF SOME SORT, GIVE IT TO US! Alas, I must count myself among those who metaphorically ran to #NewHarryPotterBooks, but how could it be? Hasn’t J.K. Rowling said time and again Harry’s over and done? (Yes, but she’s also said she could write more, and already has the characters in her head.) Did the author finally break down and say she’s ready to go back to the beloved book series?
Um.

What?

I, uh…

You still there?

I know you’re disappointed, but the trending results were kinda cute; you see, people were participating in Comedy Channel’s Midnight challenge to come up with the best hashtag,

and that (pretty terrible kickoff) led to more than a few new Harry Potter book titles:

If that didn’t cheer you, maybe drunk Ron Weasley can at least coax a little sob-giggle?
Yeah, that’s not much consolation, but c’mere, let’s hug it out.

We’ll get you @nerdist,

if it’s the last thing we do.
