Yes, the man who doesn’t own a car and for a period didn’t even own a toilet, and who was once a vegetarian is now the face of KFC’s Nashville Hot Chicken.

Because he’s hot … ?

There’s only been one ad, so far, and it only features Kartheiser on the cover of an album as a Nashville heartthrob, but yeah, that’s really Pete Campbell, hawking fast-food chicken. What a strange, almost inspired casting decision.
