The Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special had some high highs and some lows we just won’t even talk about (*cough* Californians *cough*), and was generally regarded as “fine”. But the after party? That’s where things got fucking insane. How insane, you ask? Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney playing “Shake It Off” insane.
Taylor, Paul, and Jimmy Fallon doing classic Beatles insane.

Bill Murray on the tambourine insane.
Martin Short rocking out with Prince insane.
And Maya Rudolph rocking out with Prince, getting crashed by Cuba Gooding Jr. insane.
Basically it was the greatest thing ever and none of us were there and if you’ll need me I’ll be in the corner, crying over that fact for the rest of time.
