Neill Blomkamp's Abandoned 'Alien' Project Needs to Be an Immediate Reality

Neill Blomkamp (District 9) has given us all a New Year's gift in the form of disgustingly awesome concept art for an abandoned Alien project. Blomkamp has previously (and repeatedly) said that he would love to work on a film for the franchise, and that Aliens is is his all-time favorite movie. These pictures came out of nowhere, with very few hints as to what this project was, (there's one with a date stamp of 2014_03_03, but that's the closest we get to any sort of context) and complete with vague captions ("Was working on this. Don't think I am anymore"). Whatever it is (or was), can we make it a reality now please?

Was working on this. Don't think I am anymore. Love it though. #alien #xenomorph
