Sons of Anarchy creator, writer and star Kurt Sutter’s new series premiered last night, and like his former show, it’s a family affair. There are more than a few familiar faces; some you probably recognized from Sons — some from other series. I spent half the hour going, “Hey, isn’t that…?” and the other half yawning (sorry, bossman!). So, here’s your rundown of The Bastard Executioner who’s who, starring relative newcomer, Lee Jones as Wilkin Brattle.

Katey Sagal as Annora of the Alders and and Kurt Sutter as The Dark Mute:

In her acting debut, Katey Sagal’s daughter, Sarah White as Isabel Kiffin:

Timothy V. Murphy (Sons’ Gaalan O’Shay and True Detective’s Osip Agronov) as Father Ruskin:

Stephen Moyer (True Blood’s Bill Compton) as Milus Corbett:

Danny Sapani (Penny Dreadful’s Sembene, Misfits’ Tony, Doctor Who’s Colonel Manton) as Berber the Moor:

Elen Rhys (Torchwood’s Nancy Floyd) as Petra Brattle

Sam Spruell (The Last Ship’s Quincy, Luther, The Hurt Locker) as Toran Prichard:

Finally, if you’re wondering who sang Bastard’s theme song, it’s none other than Ed Sheeran, who’ll also have an upcoming acting role as Bob, a church elder:

Cindy Davis’, (Twitter) favorite part was the Fargo trailer.
