Hands Down, the Best Thing You'll See Today: The Giving Groot

After seeing Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend, all I wanted to do is run right back into the theater to see it again…and to take my kids (which I did last night). Like plenty of my fellow audience members, I fell absolutely in love with several characters (Peter, Drax, Rocket), but most of all, Groot. Rocket’s best friend handily-dandily morphed his way through difficult situations, bad guys, and was a loyal, giving tree until the very end. And Isaac Goodhart’s re-rendering of Shel Sivlerstein’s The Giving Tree cover is the best darned thing I’ve ever seen…today.

We are Groot.
