Google Needs Our Help to Tell Them Dinosaurs Were Not Created to Indoctrinate Our Children
So, The Mary Sue has a post about how, if you Google “what happened to the dinosaurs” something hilarious/horrifying comes up as the primary result—a fundamentalist group’s nonsense about how dinosaurs were invented to make children believe the Earth has been around longer than the invention of the crucifix.
I read this post and thought “OK, this was clearly a fluke—I bet it’s fixed now.” So I tried it myself.
“Dinosaurs are used more than almost anything else to indoctrinate children and adults in the idea of millions of years of earth history. However, the Bible gives us a framework for explaining dinosaurs in terms of thousands of years of history, including the mystery of when they lived and what happened to them.”
Luckily, you can search this yourself and click “feedback” to tell Google that this is stupid.
Fundamentalist Christians have not had the best week, but luckily they can unite against the greatest enemy of all—the dinosaur agenda. WHEN WILL THE DINOSAURS STOP THEIR WAR ON CHRISTIANITY?
This is clearly what Chris Pratt was preemptively apologizing for.
