Sherlock on PBS at 9:58pm ET. Third season premiere. I realize that all of you who are really serious about your Sherlock have already seen this, but please try your best not to spoil it (more than it already has been) for those of us who enjoy the show, but not enough to bother tracking it down online.

Girls on HBO at 10:00pm ET. While searching for steady, gainful employment I ended up working as an extra a few different times. One of those times was last spring, when they were filming tonight’s episode of Girls. If you’d like a glimpse of the end of my not at all illustrious acting career, keep your eyes peeled for a strawberry blonde in a blue dress and occasionally a brown jacket when they’re at the bar. I have no idea if I made it into the show or not, and don’t get HBO, so I’m relying on you eagle-eyed readers to let me know if I can add “shared screen time with Lena Dunham” to my list of personal achievements.
