After cataloging the many problems with the Trump campaign’s Skittles meme — from bad grammar, to an inaccurate scale, to reducing people to sugar — Stephen Colbert turned the candy metaphor back around on Donald Trump Jr., hitting Trump right where it hurts: In his Toblerone (OK, that was bad. That’s why we leave the candy metaphors to the professionals).
The Trump Campaign, meanwhile, is sticking by the Skittles meme.
