Will The Daily Wire's 'Snow White' Adaptation Go Full Grimms?

The conservative website The Daily Wire, founded by a man who cannot satisfy his wife, launched a subscription streaming app this week exclusively for kids. It’s called Bentkey, and for $100 a year, subscribers can get access to four series original to Bentkey, as well as 18 more series that have been licensed. Original series include “Chip Chilla,” an animated show about a family of homeschooled chinchillas. No, I am not kidding.

Bentkey, created in opposition to Disney and launched on the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Walt Disney Company, plans to spend $100 million over the next three years on the service, apparently unaware of the struggles of the streaming era.

The Daily Wire also announced that it would make its own Snow White movie for Bentkey to counter the “woke” Disney version with Rachel Zegler, who is not acceptably white enough to fill a role originally written as a white woman. The Daily Wire has cast YouTube personality Brett Cooper — the only person on the planet who considers YouTube commenters a source of authority — to play the role.

“I was raised on the original Grimms’ Fairy Tales, so I’m thrilled that we’re bringing this iconic story to life for the next generation!” Cooper said.

Really? She likes the original Grimms’ Fairy Tales version? Because Rachel Zegler’s adaptation is not precisely like the original, therefore it’s “woke,” which I assume means that The Daily Wire’s Snow White and the Evil Queen will faithfully adapt the source material. By that, I mean the Evil Stepmother will eat the heart of a boar, believing it to be Snow White’s, and a prince will make the step-mom wear a pair of red-hot iron slippers and dance until she literally dies.

The homeschooled kids are gonna love that!
